Baby yoga is a super fun and engaging activity which incorporates baby massage, relaxation and breathing techniques for parents, yoga inspired poses and stretches for both babies and parents, singing, tummy time, swings, dips & holds and lots more.
The meaningful touch and play used in baby yoga gently encourages your little ones to enjoy and explore their developing skills as they start to progress and move in different ways. Baby yoga helps to develop baby’s vestibular system (responsible for balance & coordination) and proprioception (our bodies ability to understand its own position in space) and has so many amazing benefits including boosting circulation & digestion, strengthening muscles and joints and helping to develop communication and language skills.

Our introduction to baby yoga course is a fun & relaxed course that is perfect for babies aged 12 weeks through to pre-walking. The course provides you and your little one with a supportive, friendly space where you can relax, enjoy some exciting baby yoga and also socialise with other new parents & families.
You do not need to have any experience of yoga to attend this course and all of the movements, stretches and yoga inspired poses for parents are gentle & safe for mothers during the post-natal period. They can also be adapted as needed to make sure you are as comfortable as possible.
The course runs for 4 weeks at Penistone Leisure Centre and includes:
- A bottle of Tiddley Pom organic baby lotion
- A pdf detailing all of the different poses, stretches and songs you will learn during the course
- A welcome pack for you to take away full of lots of treats for you and baby
- 10% off Tiddley Pom & Neals Yard products (even after you have finished the course)
- A certificate

We also provide all equipment including mats, towels, cushions and sensory toys to use if needed (*all fully cleaned & disinfected prior to use and between sessions).
There will also always be time for you to have a chat, ask questions & generally just connect with other families attending the course.

Baby Yoga Follow On Sessions – £8 per sessionBook Now
Our follow on baby yoga sessions are weekly baby yoga sessions perfect for parents and babies who have attended a beginners course but want to continue enjoying baby yoga with Little Leopards. Every week we will hold a relaxed session building upon the skills learnt during the beginners course.
As baby yoga is designed to work with, and encourage baby’s natural development through key milestones such as rolling, crawling and walking it is a great activity to continue on a regular basis.
You can book a one off session for £8 or 4 sessions for £28. The discount will automatically be applied when booking.
Session content will change on a weekly basis so that the little ones can enjoy new things but will always follow a familiar structure as babies find repetition super comforting.
As with the beginners course we provide mats, towels, cushions and sensory toys and will also provide anything that may be needed for a specific activity planned for the session.
